    Nominees for the Outstanding Student Leadership Award have shown service and leadership in the college, department or school and through their university activities. By tradition, the winner of this award is asked to represent the graduating seniors as class speaker at the CANR Commencement ceremony.

  • Hendrick recommended as new College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dean at MSU

    Ronald L. Hendrick will be recommended as dean of Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. If approved by the MSU Board of Trustees, Hendrick’s appointment will be effective July 1, 2016.

  • Bailey Scholars Present at Annual AAEEBL Conference

    Last month, Bailey Scholars Program Director Jeno Rivera attended and presented at the 2014 Association for Authentic, Experiential and Evidence-Based Learning Conference in Boston with Bailey Graduate Fellows David Nguyen (pictured) and Bill Heinrich.  The conference focused on Engaged Learning and ePortfolios.  Rivera and Nguyen gave a widely attended five minute IGNITE presentation on the technological limitations of digital natives whereas Rivera and Heinrich shared their findings on learner readiness to document learning experiences.
